Solid walnut box veneered with burr walnut. Two pull-out trays in maple with black baize bottoms, there is an open space below the trays. The hinges are designed to hold the lid at 95 degrees thus negating the use of a chain. The four sides are shaped with a curved sole hand plane before applying the burr veneer. The Trays and box carcase are jointed with hand-cut dovetails. £1200.00
